Teff is our latest equine product, grown and produced specifically for it's low NSC content.
It is suitable for all hay-consuming animals, that require a low NSC diet.
All Jones Hay TEFF feed-products are tested below 10% NSC prior to dispatch, with results available on request (batch specific & broad)

- Teff is believed to have originated in
Ethiopia between 4000 B.C. & 1000 B.C.
- One of the names it is known by is 'Summer LoveGrass'
- Our Teff hay & haylage is highly palatable - it is softer and finer than
ANY of our current 'fairy grass' bales that our clients know & love
- Teff is grown and produced to be low NSC, making it a suitable option for horses prone to metabolic disease & laminitis
- Can be utilised for horses with lower energy needs- Teff grass is HYPOALLERGENIC, meaning no more itchy eyes/skin, hives or sneezes!

- Super fine stemmed, rivalling any grass on the market
